Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025) sent a Jeju home table into school cafeterias: fried croaker, steamed cabbage, squid-radish soup, rice with peas, and kimchi. Episode 4 is the peas-from-the-bowl scene. This page starts with the kimchi on that tray.
The show is a Jeju life. The food is poor-table food: peas in the rice, a fried croaker, squid soup, cabbage, kimchi. In April 2025 Korean high-school cafeterias put that set on the tray and named it after the series. We can say that. We cannot ship their tray photo.

Reported in episode 4: Gwan-sik sits with Ae-sun and passes peas from his bowl to their daughter. Sportskeeda and Onmanorama recaps, citing Korea Economic Daily on 3 April 2025, describe the cafeteria set as fried croaker, steamed cabbage, squid soup, peas rice, and kimchi.
